satchmo stout
had a lovely evening out with an old friend and a fine satchmo vintage (makes me say "BevMo!").

realized (for the first time) that the 80's were 20 years ago (which is astounding as it's only been a coupla years since I was there). found a likeminded sensible person who understands that everything pre-30's was just foolishness and preparation. also, any evening where more than one person insists on buying dinner is a good night out.

finally did laundry. even drove to the damn laundromat. it's been so long that it was almost as good as shopping (lookit all the new clothes!). and the simple bliss of clean sheets and underwear...
