kehoe distraction
so yesterday, i officially got my little pupster -- so far she's named "kehoe" -- for the beach in pt. reyes that i think is a little piece of heaven (when i die, i hope to see moley and all my loved ones there, or somewhere similar). we'll see if the name sticks...

she's been great so far -- sweet and really good. still is hard work, what with housebreaking without a real house, and plenty of fun little tricks. kehoe seems to definitely be mostly pigdog -- food oriented, crazy brave, idiotically smart. i adore her already -- she slept between dees and me all night, and has some fairly soulful eyes for sucha youngun.

it doesn't make my sadness at missing the mo, or my fear of war go away, but it gives me a great positive focus in the meantime.
