justly married...

After 10 years of waffling, we've finally tied the knot!
In a wonderfully historic, and equally wonderfully bureaucratic process (really, who thought standing in line could be *fun*?!), we -- Lisa Anne Stringer and Eliza Kiju Wee -- joined thousands of people and participated in the civil right of marriage.
It was both political, and intensely personal. And best of all, it was fun -- our friends, all the fantastic people who worked and volunteered their time all weekend (yep! city officials working on a holiday weekend!), and all the great people standing out in the rain to cheer -- there was just an incredible amount of happy energy flying around. It was one of the most moving and happy moments of my life.
In lieu of gifts, we ask that you donate generously to the ACLU.
