summer fresca
aaaah -- warm weather makes me happy... nice little break from my air conditioned, temperature controlled workday to sit in the park and welcome the beginning of summer.

haven't had time for much blogging -- summer's been well underway for a coupla months now. hitting a groove with paddling -- hoping to continue that through the rest of the season. really enjoying my last novice year -- getting strong, winning medals, getting better at huli* drills (last oc-1 race i managed to huli and dfl**...oh well). kehoe's been her usually snuggly self. i've started little mini-meditations with her. sitting in the sun, breathing with my dog, thinking about nothing (or trying) and just noticing what i'm feeling...not a bad thing at all. other than that? bbq, pride, and travelling. life is feelin mostly ok for now...
