just finished my little sketchbook today. at the beginning of this little book, moley was still happily (albeit slowly) following me on longish walkies.

here's a bit of obsessive crosshatching. it's been about 2 days of scribbling [there are thumbnails under all that ink]. suppose something is percolating while I do this, but I'm not sure. [different book, same obsessive nature]

here's the lighthouse I mentioned a bit back. the apartments were right next to this gorgeous old thing... [remember?]

and this was my view in the mornings. the blue is ocean turning to sky. there was usually a coupla baby deer with their momma munching in the middle of the view. it was pretty heavenly. you had to look to see anything man-made.

a bit of sketching at the Fogg Museum in Boston, and during an amy cray gig. leesa was sitting with baskie, who was upset about something or other (pobrecita).

I also have a *surprise* but you have to wait a bit. oh well. you might entertain yourself with my new desktop or send us something (money is good). the desktop, in case you we wondering is the slightly delirious image used on our postcards recently. somehow, people seem to like my random doodles. more doodles!

juggling debt
just spent hours paying bills, transfering balances, and stressing about money. ahh, this is the life! no one warned me that working for myself would entail an unrelenting stressed out boss (yes, me, tho it does occasionally apply to other folks). but I did get to read two more lemony snicket books, so I'm fairly happy. also, it's gorgeously warm, which if you're me (as I am), is delightful. spending my meals sitting in my sunny kitchen where moley loved to sleep and soak up the sun.

ok, no more complaining (back to werk)...
