head banging
there are people outside of my window banging and little bits of wall are falling on me. such has been my life. here's a cool little link of little use: korean names none of the names i know are in there, but like i said, my head is getting banged, so what do i know?

been busy, and not online much. but good -- full moon kayaking with dees, fostering a sweet little puppy who's gotten under my skin (how can i give her up?!?), and running outta money. but such is life. ok, time to listen to that new nellie (sp?) song (does he mind that his name is used as a pejorative term for gay men?). ah well...

.pride.shame.
aaah. had fun and nonesensequenses per usual this pride. much running amok and fun. my motobike taught me a lesson about benign neglect, and refused to run. the lesson was well-taken, and i'll try to be a more attentive bike owner from now on. had fun at the dyke shuffle, i mean, march, and saw all sorts of old and new friends. got to use jenie's facilities, and went dancing at mango, which was odd, but fun. lots and lots of queues. two very friendly children sold lemonade from their cute little stand. it went well with jack daniels. dees even lasted most of the night, which was fun, as she was looking mighty cute in her rainbow lei pigtails and latex top...

missed gay shame, but got to gay pride, and cruised around looking for freebies with jenie, paul and lisa d. corporate and shameful, but entertaining.

been kayaking a bit and had a nice dog walk and kayaking afternoon postpride -- kehoe wouldn't sit in the kayak, but todd did, so the humans had a nice time of it. dees and i got to ride in todd's fancy car too, which was a treat.

does the good weather every pride mean that god loves queers best?

today i am filled with nervous anxious energy, and am trying to paint it out. so far, i have a blurry mess faintly resembling kehoe. ah well. grr.

despite all the cynicism, i love pride weekend. it's part of what i love here. had a lovely realization over brekkie with hil and kavita -- i love it here. this is the first home i've had that i've loved this much. it could be warmer more often, and i certainly do wish we had some of the food available in LA -- but really, there's so much i love here -- from pt reyes to big basin, and all that. sigh. perhaps i'll leave it on that uncharacteristically optimistic note.
